Stage Fright

Palms sweaty. Throat scratchy. Feet shivering.  Hello and welcome back to a fresh new month <3     We're all familiar with the term 'Stage Fright' or 'Performance Anxiety' right?  The irrational fear or anxiety when performing before an audience. A lot of us may have also experienced this at some point. I've been a avid dancer ever since I was a kid but that doesn't doesn't imply that I've haven't been a victim to the same.  It happened to me at a really young age however, I developed methods to overcome the same, which I'll be discussing towards the end of this post. Keep in mind, today's post is going to be based on a little more general perspective that we all have undergone at some point and not the disorder. (Do let me know in the comments if you would like me to base a post on the same) Let's first understand,  Why does it occur? Self consciousness, low self esteem, and many more factors. World Mental Health Day!

Hey everyone! Welcome back!! Aaj ka post is a little different.  Why? BECAUSE ITS A COLLABORATIVE ONE!! Recently, I had collaborated with a youth organisation known as @theworldunheard on their Instagram platform! Today's post is based mainly on what I did during the week and the importance of the activities :) Without further ado, let's get to it! 'Our world unheard'  is a youth led social media activism platform that discusses social, political and environmental issues that don’t receive the media coverage that they deserve. Dedicated to raising awareness about issues like feminism, the LGBTQ community, political crisis and laws, and so much more, they share awareness in the form of posts and stories every day. It was started in May of 2020, and has grown to 2 teams, with a total of 16 members working on creating content and raising awareness.  Social media has become a platform for education and information in this digital age, especially for younger audience, and

Heyyo everyone! Welcome back to Month 14 of #faltufriday! As the title of this post suggested, YES I GOT INTERVIEWED!! (I'll be dropping the link to it at the end of the post so don't forget to check it out!) Milestones right?? :) Anyway, today's post is basically on my entire experience so enjoy!! Being a Mental Health blogger I recently volunteered to give a talk to aspiring bloggers and fellow teens on a talk show known as ' The Achievers Table ' The Achiever's Table is a Forum made keeping in mind the young and aspiring teenagers who have the urge to achieve success in life. The show helps today’s youth have a broader idea of conventional and unconventional career paths, expanding their horizons into the “real world” and much more! It also enables the aspiring section of the society to come out of their shells and meet more like-minded people. They aim to motivate our society’s young and aspirational section to think out of the box fearlessly. So here go

Surprise!!

Heyy everyone! Welcome back to month 9 of #faltufriday where I talk about something totally random. Today's post is not like any regular faltu friday because today is a special one! A lot of you might have come across me hyping up about a surprise post on my socials-well wait no longer :) Today's post is a collaborative one with a likeminded friend of mine, Aanya Lodha :) Aanya, is a 14 year old attending Oberoi International School. She previously ran a mental health account on Instagram, @teen.trauma , but is currently taking a break from that. She loves doing what any teenager does; listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with her friends and family. She's not a professional and has never struggled with her mental health, but she knows many people that did, which is part of what made her so interested in starting her account, which promotes and educates people on mental health, in the first place. Her zeal towards educating had also played a role in inspired
