T.V. Show Recommendations
Ok first things first, wishing y'all a very Merry Christmas. Welcome back to month 5 of #faltufriday where I talk about something totally random.
I took your suggestions and lot of ya'll wanted to know my top 5 show recommendations so here we go :)
Number 5:
The Good Place
I've personally been really fond of this show since last year because its so different from the others. The entire concept and characters of the story is just incredible. The first season follows Eleanor Shellstrop , a lady invited after her demise to "the Good Place", a profoundly particular Heaven-like perfect world planned and run by eternity "draftsman" Michael as a compensation for her upright life. The Good Place is where the individuals who have been acceptable for the duration of their lives go whenever they have died. At the point when Eleanor shows up at the Good Place, she understands she has been confused with another person, and looks for help from another companion to acquire her spot in the Good Place. I won't give any spoilers but the show takes a major twist at the end of the first season
Number 4:
Stranger Things
Okay the reason I'm 90% obsessed with this show is because of its cast. Millie Bobby Brown's acting has to be one of the most refreshing acts I've seen in a while and so is the show. Its not a typical 'high school drama' show but has some instances of it. It's set within the 1980s within the anecdotal town of Hawkins, Indiana, the primary season centres on the examination into the vanishing of a youthful boy in the midst of powerful occasions happening around the town, counting the appearance of a young girl with psychokinetic powers. Would NOT recommend watching it at night if you're scared of horror but it is a classic.
Number 3 :
One Day at a Time
Primarily the reason I love this show is because it throws major light on unspoken topics or topics which have a stigma around them in a very simple and light-hearted way. It follows the story of Penelope Alvarez, a United States Army Nurse Corps veteran, facing her return to civilian life with a lot of unresolved issues from her time in the Army. She works as a nurse in the office of Dr. Leslie Berkowitz. She separates from Victor, her husband, taking the children with her and with the help of her Cuban mother, Lydia Riera, she raises two children: Elena and Alex. Definitely worth a binge.
Number 2 :
F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
A lot of you would disagree on liking this show but I'm in LOVE with it. It is an ideal sitcom where you can watch from anywhere and would still make you laugh out loud. Besides, it is proven to help with anxiety and I'm telling you with experience, it actually works. I watched this show for the first time in 7th and it has never been off my list since then. I've watched the entire show over 5 times and random episodes a million. Regardless, ya'll MUST watch it if you want a not too long and pay attention to every tiny detail kinda show.
Number 1:
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
I genuinely can't even remember HOW many times I've watched this show on loop. Pretty sure 90% of you guys have already watched it but if you haven't, what are you waiting for?! Literally the best Cop-Comedy show ever!-with an added element of throwing light of some of the MAJOR issues in the world in a very realistic way. The cast, story, location-Everything is SO GOOD! Not to mention the plot twists at the end of every season. Truly an amazing show so much so that it got cancelled and picked up again! Low-key waiting for s8 to come out so I can binge the show again :p
