Caught in the Middle

 Heyy!

Welcome back to month 21 of #faltufriday!

Aaj ka post is basically based on my life:

The Life of an Ambivert.

Most people have a basic idea of what personality traits an extrovert or introvert possesses.
But more often than not, people are unaware of the idiosyncrasies of an ambivert.

Truth be said, I used to be a SUPER extroverted person in my childhood, a SUPER introverted person until very recently, so trust me, I've seen the best of both worlds but ultimately found my comfort zone in a term known as 'ambivert'.

My personality changes from situation to situation- much like most of my ambivert readers might relate to. A lot of people like to describe me as a chameleon because I exhibit exuberance sometimes and sound apathetic at other times and find that “air of mystique” around me.

In my personal experience, the moments in which I feel the most 'ambivert-ish' is when it comes to socialising. Spending time with others can be both extremely energising as well as exhausting for me.
When I'm surrounded by 'my people'- family members, friends or at times social situations where I know no one, that's situations in which I feel extremely outgoing. Right on the other hand, places like schools and parties is where my introversion kicks in :p
(also the very reason why most people from school would describe me as an introvert)

But, with the best of two worlds also comes the added pressure of indecisiveness.

This often leads me to question whether it would be best for me to express my introversion or extroversion in a particular crowd. Don't get me wrong, I love meeting new people but always have limitations to my interaction with people eep :)

Also, I am horrible at small talk.

I'll happily help you advice and will also sit through a long deep conversation but the second you ask me to engage in small talk-nope. Can't do. I can talk and listen for hours and hours about the things that I love. Something which is again bohot common!

P.s. the only reason why I've become mildly outgoing as compared to 2 years ago, is 90% because of my blog :) It helped me connect with a new variety of people as well as explore a field that I never knew would turn out to be so passionate about!
(yet another justification that doing the activities you love helps you in the long run)

That was it for today's post! Hope y'all enjoyed it <3
Let me know in the comments below what kind of person you are!
Don't forget to share and comment for more, every Friday!

Signing off,

Kuhu :)
