How to be more like a Cockroach

Hello everyone!

Welcome back <3

Following up on last week's post  in which I wrote about the importance of being adaptable towards a situation and to taking it how it goes, today's post is based on my top 3 ways of implying the same.

These are methods that have worked really well for me but one thing I kept in mind before practicing them was to mentally accept the fact that it won't happen overnight. It's a slow process but one which is definitely worth it.

Without further ado, let's get to it!

This is probably just step 'A' of Adaptability.
Accepting the fact that new things isn't always necessarily bad is the first way you should set your mindset to help you take situations easier. Even though it's natural to want to resist change, try and build up your ability to adapt and respond positively by physically changing your behaviour next time you are faced with a change-goes a long way tbh.

In continuation to the previous point,  this one focusses on the importance of knowing that it's okay to not have one plan work out. Plan A might not work and maybe neither would plan B or C. However, even in these tough times its important to remind yourself that there are still 23 more alphabets to keep pursuing.
In order to become more adaptive towards change one must first be prepared to embrace the change. Indulge your curiosity and ask questions. Seek out new adventures, new experiences, and new stories. Embrace the joy that comes from learning something new every day.
Sure one might argue that having a plan B affects your performance in plan A- it makes you feel as if you are in a comfort zone and have something to fall back on. That however was not my point of direction.
At times there will be situations and circumstances that will lead us to aborting plan A and that leaves us with numerous paths to explore. That is why when plans B or C don't work out, you need to know that its not the end.

And that's okay.
Learn to understand that nothing is a smooth sailing highway.
Even literal highways have traffics.

All you have to do is learn from them.
Think about what happened, why it happened and what will you do to avoid it further.
Applies with almost everything; e.g. school grades.

Didn't get as good as expected? No worries because that's not the end.
You're going to have another exam, you're gonna get another chance.

Say it's an important exam. Boards perhaps and you don't get as much as expected.
Will you be devastated? Absolutely. Will you cry? Definitely.
But then it comes down to how much will you cry? At some point you will mentally have to accept the fact that it is what it is and make the best of it.
And some ways to do it are mentioned above.

That was it for today's post.
Don't forget to share and comment for more <3
This was the last 'informative' most of the month! Thank you all for making it such a success. Stay tuned for next week's faltu friday and don't forget to follow to never miss an update as well.
