Be Weird, Be Different

 Hey everyone and welcome backzo!

Most of us, if not all, have probably experienced some sort of 'misfit' in school. Some of us may have tried changing ourselves in our sense of style, our way of speaking, or even our whole personality all together just to 'fit in'.

I've been through it too, and after long time, realized and overcame it; which is why I wanted to share with you all why it's 100% okay to be you. Just the way you are.

Without further ado, lets get to it!

As spoken in  my earlier post, my present personality can best be encapsulated in the term 'Ambivert'

And the reason why I find this as my comfort term is because it let's me be me, and explore me.
(wow I sound like some 23 year old sheesh)

Up to freshmen year, I used to be pretty introverted and didn't have anything 'unique' to me. But after online school began, I started writing blogs and something changed. I had something unique to me. I wrote. As I kept writing, I kept exploring myself, bettered my sense of writing and personality and just that one activity brought me to who I am today - 2 years later and maybe someone different down the line. My earliest writings and present works are a literal reflection of it.

Just starting that one activity that I discovered pretty spontaneously opened a window to several other opportunities.

And sure I had a million 'log kya kahege' thoughts (Here's my poem on it!), I kept going because I knew I was doing something that defined me. People from all over the world approach me and want to talk to me about this one thing I'm truly passionate about now. There are always going to be people who will criticize you - and that's okay (Ek kaan se suno, ek kaan se chorro). When you try something new, you come to know that one unique thing is something which will actually make you fit in.

I had a classmate who was basically a computer genius. He could talk about literally anything so much so people used to call him Google
If they had changed themselves, just shut themselves up then no one would even know they existed.

Let this be an inspiration to you to go out and try out that one activity you truly care about - and not one which everyone is doing. The one you've been thinking about a while now but are to scared to try out.

(Bonus point: It really helps out with college apps)

Be Weird, Be Different.

That was it for today's post! Hope y'all enjoyed it <3 It's been one I've been meaning to write on for a really long time. Don't forget to share and comment for more content, every Friday!

Signing off,

Kuhu :)
